All star games are exciting events for NBA fans
While the game is not as competitive as it once was, there’s still something about seeing your favorite player go head to head with an opposing team that has you on the edge of your seat and cheering at every play.
This year’s All Star Game will be held in New Orleans and feature two teams: The East and West. Boston Uni takers vs Cleveland Cavaliers as last year’s winners, respectively.

The new stadium will be the most technologically advanced in the world
New Orleans is also home to the new NBA Arena that will be opening in October. The arena, which was designed by HOK Sport, will be the new home of the New Orleans Pelicans.
The $47 million dollar arena has been funded by the state of Louisiana, with some expenses coming from the Federal Transit Authority and City Park Improvement Association. It’s expected to be open for public use on October 14th.
This year’s game is expected to be the most technologically advanced in the sport, with NBC saying it will be an “innovative and immersive” experience.
The game between the two teams will begin on Sunday, February 19th at 8.30 pm ET.
The showcase will also include the three-point and slam dunk competitions.

The Smoothie King Center is just a short drive away from the French Quarter and there are plenty of Uber-like services to choose from.
There will be an effort by everyone involved in this year’s All Star game to make sure guests have the best experience possible, especially after Hurricane Katrina.
